Biography
Sukanya Bhattacharya
Sukanya Bhattacharya serves as an Intake Specialist and Clinical Assistant at Hanover CBT, bringing a strong background in mental health research, clinical coordination, and education. She earned her B.A. with high honors in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a PreHealth Concentration from Dartmouth College, where she explored the intersections of mental health and physical well-being.
Sukanya’s passion for mental health advocacy is evident in her extensive research and clinical experience. She has worked as a Clinical Research Trial Coordinator at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, conducting projects on digital mental health interventions. Additionally, she has contributed to mental health research, behavioral nutrition studies, and mental health chatbot development, with her work published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.
Beyond research, Sukanya is deeply committed to mental health support and education. She volunteers as a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line and a Helpline Caller Volunteer with the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa & Associated Disorders (ANAD), where she provides emotional support, resources, and crisis intervention. At Hanover CBT, Sukanya is passionate about creating an environment that contributes to the clinic’s mission of providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Outside of work, Sukanya enjoys exploring nature, visiting local coffee shops, and finding new ways to engage with her community.
