David Bradley, PhD


Dr. David Bradley earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. During his post-doctoral fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, he worked with individuals experiencing a broad range of anxiety and mood-related disorders as well as insomnia. He also conducted bariatric pre-surgical evaluations. Before earning his Ph.D., Dr. Bradley attended Boston College completing a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in mental health counseling. As an assistant professor at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, Dr. Bradley taught and mentored clinical psychology graduate students before returning to New England to focus on full-time clinical work.

Dr. Bradley has extensive training in empirically supported treatments for anxiety and related disorders in adults of all ages, with additional training from McLean Hospital's OCD Institute in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), using exposure and response prevention (ERP).

Dr. Bradley also treats other anxiety disorders from a cognitive-behavioral and exposure-based framework, including generalized anxiety, health anxiety, panic attacks, trichotillomania, and phobias. In addition, he has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), PTSD (prolonged exposure and cognitive processing therapy (CPT)), and depression.

Dr. Bradley respects the courage it takes to begin therapy. Through collaborative relationships, he helps clients identify their challenges and unique strengths to overcome obstacles. Dr. Bradley adapts potent, evidence-based techniques to fit each client's needs in order to promote growth, self-understanding, and healing.
